WANJet
Most file-sharing technologies were designed for use in a single location, over a wired local area network (LAN). They run much slower over wide area networks (WANs), such as the Internet.
WANJet is a powerful, appliance-based solution that delivers fast, steady, predictable performance for all users on a WAN. WANJet overcomes the limitations of wide area networks, helping with file transfers and data replication between data centers and branch offices. By installing a WANJet at each end of a connection, file transfers take place at nearly the speed of a wired local area network. Application performance is also comparable to what users would experience on a hard-wired LAN.
